Employment

We’re growing! Our small but mighty team is recruiting new talent and fresh faces. Think you might be a fit? Check out the available positions below.

Senior Art Director / Art Director

You’re full ideas and your job is one of the ways you breathe life into them. You have proven your ability as an Art Director to take and idea from conception to execution and you thrive when navigating your projects through the daily labyrinth called advertising. The art director we are looking for has a deep understanding of how creative thinking helps clients tell their story and achieve their brand goals.

You will work collaboratively to deliver creative solutions for a range of clients primarily focused in the real estate development, healthcare and destination entertainment categories. You will be responsible for concepting and executing projects for print, digital and broadcast.

Working closely with our creative team of art directors, designers and writers (we are hiring one of these now too), our account team and third-party vendors when needed, you will be asked to contribute creative ideas that deliver the high level of quality that our agency is known for and our clients expect from both a creative and strategic perspective.

Schaefer is a fast-paced environment, requiring the ability to be nimble and quickly transition between clients. It’s vital you are curious by nature and are deeply self-motivated to gain knowledge about our clients’ business beyond the brief.

It’s important you continually seek a deeper understanding of the consumer journey and the role content plays in helping motivate people from awareness to action – from concept to conversion.

We need a creative, team-player that enjoys the challenge of problem solving, strives to make things better and has fun doing it. You need to be driven and able to self-initiate projects and not afraid to dress up with us for Halloween.

You must be able to anticipate the client’s needs and solve any problems they have.
